Emami East Bengal FC aim to continue their CFL dominance with key reinforcements

Kolkata, 26 June 2025: Emami East Bengal FC will commence their Calcutta Football League 2025-26 Premier Division campaign with a Group A clash against Measurers Club at the Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium on Friday afternoon (Kickoff – 3 PM).
Under Coach Bino George’s guidance, EEB were unbeaten in the tournament’s previous edition, amassing 11 wins and a draw from the 12 group stage fixtures, and leading the Super Six standings until the tournament was halted.
The Red & Golds dominated the scoring charts, netting 46 goals across the two phases. Jesin TK finished as the top scorer of the previous term with 13 goals to his name.
In a bid to strengthen the squad ahead of the 127th edition of the league, EEB have roped in forward Manotos Maji and defender Bikram Pradhan from Bhawanipore FC and midfielder Sanjoy Oraw from Suruchi Sangha. Maji and Pradhan were key architects of Bengal’s Santosh Trophy triumph in December last year.
Speaking about the reinforcements, Bino George said,”The new players have been adapting fast to my style of play and will add a lot of value to the squad. We want to continue our dominance in the CFL as it’s one of the toughest state leagues in the country. It’s a fantastic platform for the young players to earn vital minutes and gain promotion to the first team.”
