ATK Mohun Bagan bag 3 points as they lay claim on the iconic Kolkata Derby

The iconic Salt Lake Stadium witnessed an enthralling footballing contest in the Indian Super League (ISL) tournament! A game that brimmed with excitement and energy levels!

East Bengal FC might have gone down against their arch-rivals ATK Mohun Bagan 0-2 but Stephen Constantine’s Red and Gold Brigade displayed exemplary performances on the football field.

The first half of the game was even stevens as none of the teams managed to muster a goal. The Red and Gold Brigade were exceptional and created several chances amidst a sizzling and electrifying atmosphere in Kolkata.

The Mariners changed the course of the game in the second half courtesy two sensational goals from Hugo Boumous and Manvir Singh. Boumous scored in the 56th minute and shifted the momentum to the ATK Mohun Bagan side. Manvir Singh capitalised on it and netted another one in the 65th minute.

The entire stadium erupted in joy as a fantastic game unfolded in front of their eyes. The energy levels were supreme, and we witnessed an absolute crackerjack of a contest!
